MANKATO – One of two men arrested Sunday after robbing and assaulting a man they shared a cab ride with used an ID he stole from a friend to identify himself to police. 27-year-old Mohamed Ahmed Hasan’s true identity was discovered when Abdikani Mohamed Farah called the jail after hearing he had been arrested.
Charges against Farah were dismissed and refiled on Hasan.
