Wallet And More Human Bones Found In Albrecht Case

MANKATO – The wallet of Matthew Albrecht was found during a third ground search last Thursday south of Mankato.

Blue Earth County Sheriff Capt. Rich Murry says additional bones were found near the Sleepy Hollow subdivision.

These bones, along with items found during a May 6th search are being examined by both the Ramsey County Medical Examiner and BCA Lab in St. Paul.

The BCA says DNA testing on a bone found by a dog last December is a match for Albrecht.

The Mapleton man went missing in April 2010. The case remains under investigation.
