MANKATO – Area law enforcement made 12 DWI arrests during Saturday night’s Nightcap drunk driving enforcement. In one case, the State Patrol says a person was “driving like a pin ball” when the car took out numerous street signs in lower Mankato. Another DWI arrest was made after a tip from a store attendant who informed law enforcement that a driver was getting in his car and could hardly walk. No names were released.
Agencies participating were police departments from Mankato, Good Thunder, North Mankato, St. Peter, Madison Lake, Eagle Lake, Mapleton, Lake Crystal, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Department and the State Patrol.
