MANKATO – New research from the National Partnership for Women & Families shows full-time working women in Minnesota are paid $10,467 less than their male counterparts.
The report says if the wage gap were eliminated, each working woman could afford mortgage and utility bills for 7 more months.
Nationally, full-time working women are paid an average of 77-cents for every dollar men are paid.
