MANKATO – A sheriff deputy claims a Mankato man was driving without a license when he was spotted behind the wheel of his pickup truck Sunday afternoon.
The Blue Earth County Sheriff deputy says he was parked at the intersection of County Road 33 and Waseca Avenue when a truck driven by Charles Anthony Holcomb started to turn onto the road. The deputy says Holcomb stopped his truck and threw it into reverse when he spotted the squad car.
After a short chase, Holcomb stopped and fled on foot. The deputy found him hiding behind some large concrete tiles.
Holcomb faces three counts, including felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle.
