MANKATO – An alert Mankato resident spotted suspicious activity around his neighbor’s home early Sunday morning and called police.
That resulted in officers responding to a home a 730 Baker where the witnessed the suspect forcing his way through a locked door.
Police entered the home are found 18-year-old Vincent Joseph Branchaud of Oakdale inside the home’s bathroom.
Branchaud was arrested on charges of burglary, criminal damage to property and underage consumption.
Police say the owners of the home were out of town.
