Jess's Bio

I have been in the radio since 2003 when I found myself on KOWZ in Owatonna as an intern while attending Brown College in Minneapolis.  After graduating in 2004 I spent 3 years as the News Director and Operations Supervisor in Sparta, WI at WCOW.  Then, in May of 2007 I moved to Mankato to be closer to family (they all escaped the cornfields of Iowa shortly after I graduated High School) I was hired as an Account Manager for Three Eagles Communications.  After about a year of that I took the Morning Show co-host job on Country 103.5.  I left radio in November of 2009 only to find that once it's in your blood you're done for. Now, here I am on your radio from 5:30 to 10:00 with George and I'm so happy to be here!

When I'm not doing the air guitar to Def Leppard (really) I am very active.  I love running and am training for the Mankato 1/2 Marathon.  I also enjoy biking with my wonderful husband and doing house projects...with the exception of painting :)  I prefer summer but started snow shoeing last year and that helps make the white stuff a little more bearable.
