MANKATO – A Mankato woman was arrested and jailed on Valentine’s Day after allegedly trying to shoplift a can of Reddi Whip and a box of “Heart Pot of Gold” candy from the downtown HyVee. Police say 24-year-old Nancy Rodriquez ran from store security to her car.
While fleeing the area, Rodriquez hit a car at the intersection of Hickory and Fifth.
She drove from the scene of the crash and was later arrested inside a home in the 100 block of Hanover.
