MANKATO – Two men charged with last December’s armed robbery of the Affinity Plus Credit Union at Minnesota State University are now facing federal charges.
According to The Free Press, 23-year-old Chop Tang and 23-year-old Anthony Akiti have both been charged with one count of armed bank robbery in indictments filed Wednesday in St. Paul.
Tang is accused of using a gun to steal more than $17,000. Akiti is accused of driving the getaway car and spending some of the bait money from the robbery at Best Buy
