New Ulm Schools Consider Four Day Week

NEW ULM – The New Ulm school district is considering a four-day school week in order to reduce costs.

The district could save about $135,000 a year on busing and $70,000 on reduced utilities and staff hours.

School board members say they can no longer maintain the status quo given the district’s current financial condition.
