MANKATO – The Mankato Department of Public Safety are recommending the creation of a public safety campus on the site of the current downtown Public Safety Center.
The plan would include remodeling the current building for both police and fire, including a six bay fire station.
The plan includes closing the Madison Avenue fire station and building a smaller, new fire station on the northeast side of the city on Augusta Drive.
