MANKATO – A domestic assault around the Cherry Street ramp Wednesday morning landed a Mankato man in jail.
Witnesses saw the start of the altercation in an alley and video surveillance captured Michael Hokeness allegedly choking the woman inside a bus stop.
The woman fell and hit her head and is ok.
Hokeness was found by police sitting inside a near-by bar.
