New Concertmaster at Mankato Symphony Orchestra
MANKATO – A new concertmaster was selected for the Mankato Symphony Orchestra after a statewide talent search. Violinist, Emily Saathoff, was chosen to take Lydia Miller’s place after she moved out of state. Saathoff will lead passages, tune the orchestra, welcomes conductor to the stage as well as plays the violin solos. She has been playing since she was six-years-old and received a Bachelors of Music through the U of M, studying with Sally O’Reilly.
