Lack of Dental Insurance Still Allows Children to Receive Care

MANKATO (TEC News), January 21 – According to the CDC, close to 82 percent of children ages 2 to 17 make their regular dental check ups. That’s up about 66 percent higher than in years before. Although there is a rise, there are still families who don’t have dental insurance or can’t afford it. The 12th annual Give Kids a Smile event--February 7th and 8th—allows children to be treated for free.  To schedule an appointment, visit mndental.org.
