ST. PAUL, Minn. (TEC News), November 15 – Gov. Mark Dayton is on board with the Toward Zero Deaths Campaign for Minnesota and addressed highway safety advocates yesterday. Dayton expressed thanks for “their hard work to reduce crashes and save lives.” More than 900 officials were in attendance to kick off the two-day conference. Minnesota has seen a 40 percent decrease in traffic deaths on Minnesota roads between 2002 and 2012 and an increase in seat belt usage. For more information, visit minnesotatzd.org.
