REDWOOD COUNTY (TEC News) - A man is dead after a semi he was driving collided with an oncoming train yesterday. 70-year-old Richard Arnold Utz was traveling northeast 110th street when he crashed into a Canadian Pacific Train going East. Utz was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale to be treated but was prounounced dead, later. Utz worked for L&S Construction in Sanborn but resided in Comfrey. Assisting agencies include: Saborn Fire & First Responders, Springfield Ambulance, North Memorial AirCare, Lamberton Police and the Minnesota State Patrol. The accident is still under investigation.
