DENVER, Colo. (AP)- Prosecutors have formally charged a man with first–degree murder following the death of a Mankato native who lived in suburban Denver. Ryan Boyd Hicks was returned to Colorado on June 22 from Arizona, where he was arrested on unrelated charges. He was advised in court Friday that he is charged with first–degree murder after deliberation and first degree murder–felony murder in the death of David Noren. Noren disappeared May 21. His body was later found in Clear Creek County. Hicks also is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft, identity theft, evidence tampering, and being a habitual criminal, plus violent–crime counts that could enhance his sentence if convicted.
