MANKATO (TEC News) - Crash reports released recently show that at least four people were killed in traffic crashes during the Memorial Day weekend. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety said that two of them were not buckled up. A 24-year-old in LeSueur County was killed around 8 a.m. on Saturday after her vehicle left the roadway, vaulted and hit a power line pole. There were four deaths during the holiday weekend in 2012; zero deaths in 2011; nine in 2010; 13 in 2009; and two in 2008. Of these 28 road deaths, 14 were drunk driving-related.
