MANKATO (TEC News) – Sheriff detectives say in a search warrant they found three distinct sets of footprints in the snow near a vehicle allegedly used in last week’s bat assault on a man. The 27-year-old man was hit in the face by a bat in an attack arranged by his wife. They also found a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked about 300 feet from the home. Keys dropped inside started the Jeep.
