MANKATO (TEC News) – A 22-year-old woman walking home from work behind some businesses along Belle Avenue was able to fight off a purse snatcher. Police Commander Dan Schisel says a male pulled up next to her, got out, asked for a cigarette, and allegedly tried to take her purse.
The victim wasn’t injured.
