MANKATO (KMKO) – Quick response by the Mankato fire department from their new station is said to have saved a home on Swiss Street.
Fire damage was limited to $50,000 but Lt. Scott LeBrun (le-Broon) said just a few minutes more and it could have been worse.

The cause remains under investigation.
