MANKATO-November 27, 2012-(KMKO)- The Mankato Symphony Orchestra is gearing up for the holidays starting Dec. 9th. The Candy Cane Concert will start at 3 p.m. in the Mankato West High School auditorium. Orchestra Executive Director, Sara Beuchmann said it’s an annual event:

It begins with a version of Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera rendition of the classic fairytale “Hansel and Gretel.” This holiday performance will also include traditional holiday favorites and a Christmas carol sing-along with the audience. To reserve a ticket, call 387-1008.
