NORTH MANKATO-November 21, 2012-(KMKO)-A North Mankato couple were back in court today for further discussion on the custody of their children. 44-year-olds Russell and Mona Hauer were facing charges of neglect and starving their eight-year-old adopted son. Nicollet County Attorney, Michelle Zehnder Fischer is fighting to have the parental rights of the Hauers taken away completely. Another trial has been set for January 7th. The boy currently resides with his aunt outside of town.
