MANKATO-November 19, 2012-(KMKO)-A 21-year-old Lake Crystal man charged with Monday’s sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl faces five, felony 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct charges. In court, William Edwards admitted to the judge that what he did was a mistake. He also admitted to investigators that he had sec with girl five times after he met her at the post office and took her to his apartment on last week. He is accused of chocking her unconscious and says she woke up and found herself half naked. Conditional bail was set at $100,000.
