MANKATO-November 1, 2012- (KMKO) – A 31-year-old Mankato man who is required to register as a predatory offender and provide a photo upon law enforcement request, now faces a felony charge. Jermaine Taylor’s girlfriend claimed he was at a wedding in Minneapolis and was asked by police for an updated photo. Five times police tried to contact him to take a picture and his excuse was he was out-of-town, “it’s hot out”’ and that “it’s summertime.” He was wanted for a warrant in Martin County as well.
