Drought Warning Phase

MANKATO-November 8, 2012-(KMKO)-The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has informed the cities of Mankato and North Mankato that they are in a drought warning phase.  Although water supplies are currently adequate, water conservation is encouraged.  Duane Rader, North Mankato's water superintendent, says its all about common sense. Rader tells us to take some simple steps like shutting the water off when we're shaving or brushing out teeth.  Also, make sure the toilet isn't running.
