MANKATO November 6, 2012 (KMKO) – A man who held Mankato police off last July by holding a knife to his own neck will serve no more jail time. 29-year-old Brandon Hall was sentenced to time served after entering a guilty plea in September to Obstruction. Charges of
Endangering a Child and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia were dropped. Police were responding to a tip that Hall was at the apartment and he had an outstanding warrant. Hall was with a 2 1/2 year-old girl when he held the knife to his throat.
