MANKATO-October 31, 2012-(KMKO)--Minnesota State University-Mankato has announced that one of their professor's is a recipient of the Kurt Hahn Award. Experiential Education Professor, Jasper Hunt will give the Kurt Hahn Address on Thursday at the 40th Annual International Association for Experiential Education conference. This will be held in Madison, WI. Kurt Hahn was a German educator who stood up to Adolf Hitler in the late 1930s. He was taken to Great Britain to escape concentration camps and started the outward bound program in the 1940s.
