MANKATO October 29, 2012 (KMKO) – A man already in prison for the drive-by shooting last November and December in St. Peter and Gaylord was back in court Monday. This time 24-year-old Michael Smith faces felony charges for Financial Fraud and for Selling or Being in Possession of Stolen or Counterfeit Checks. His attorney told the court he expects the case will settled before the January 2013 trials. He’s already serving at least 44 months in prison.
