MANKATO-October 26, 2012-(KMKO)-VINE's Rake the Town event will be held tomorrow.  More than 700 people will be raking throughout Mankato, North Mankato, St. Peter, and rural communities in Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties. The small army of volunteers will join together to assist older friends and neighbors maintain their homes and personal independence.  Now in its 17th year, the event has become a yearly tradition for many area service groups. After raking, the volunteers meet at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Mankato for treats and prizes. To learn more, call 387-1666.
