MANKATO-OCTOBER 23, 2012-(KMKO)-The Blue Earth County Board of Commissioners recently voted to require a permit for the use of ATV and mini trucks on county state aid highways and county roads. The permits are now available at the sheriff's office at 401 Carver Road in Mankato. The $15 permit is good for three years and must be attached to a registration plate. When applying for a permit, you need to provide the ATV make, model, year, serial number and state registration numbers, as well as the insurance information. Call 304-4814 for more information.
