MANKATO-October 18, 2012-(KMKO)-The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has announced new federal grants to support traffic safety enforcement and educational efforts in south central Minnesota.  The $360,000 will help support overtime for the Toward Zero Deaths initiative.  Department of Public Safety Commissioner Mona Dohman made the announcement yesterday at the Mankato Regional Airport.  The grant money announced yesterday will fund traffic safety efforts through September of 2013.
