Woman Sentenced for New Ulm Wal-Mart Scare



NEW ULM-October 18, 2012-(KMKO)-A homeless and unemployed woman from Worthington will spend another 62 days in jail for the June employee kidnapping and bomb threat at the New Ulm Wal-Mart.  Elisheba Swett entered a guilty plea in September to kidnapping, while charges of terroristic threats, assault and theft were dropped.  During sentencing this week, Swett was given a total of 187 days in jail, 20 years probation, ordered to register as a predatory offender and pay a restitution request by the store of $101,000.  More claims could be filed.
