JANESVILLE-October 18, 2012-(KMKO)-A 60-year-old body shop owner from Janesville is accused of switching odometers on a car he later sold to a woman.  Jeffrey Hagen, the owner of Jeff's Auto Body, faces a felony theft charge and three gross misdemeanor charges of advertising, selling and tampering with an odometer.  According to police, a woman bought a car from Hagen in January.  The car's odometer showed 97,000 miles when it was actually over 180,000 miles.  The car broke down two weeks later.
