MANKATO-October 15, 2012-(KMKO)-Leaf pick up service begins today in Mankato. It is budgeted to last four weeks. Leaves are removed from the street the day after recycling and garbage is picked up. If that's scheduled for a Friday, leaves will be picked up the following Monday. Another option is to bring leaves to the Southern Minnesota Construction compost site.
