MANKATO-October 12, 2012-(KMKO)-Charges of check forgery and receiving stolen property against a Mankato man have been dismissed.  19-year-old Brock Halbmaier was a passenger in a car with another man who told police he earlier smashed out a car window and grabbed a purse.  The president of the bank where they allegedly tried to pass the check happened to be the father of the woman whose purse was stolen last July.
