EAGLE LAKE-October 12, 2012-(KMKO)-Fire crews from several departments battled a wildfire yesterday in eastern Blue Earth County.  The blaze broke out about 10:00 am near Eagle Lake.  Officials believe it was started after a wheel bearing mishap on a trailer.  The fire spread quickly through a marshy area, aided by dry and windy conditions.  Fire departments in Eagle Lake, Madison Lake, St. Clair and Janesville responded.  The fire was under control by noon.  No injuries or property damage were reported.
