ST. PETER-October 12, 2012-(KMKO)-A St. Peter woman had her bail reduced from $15,000 to $5,000 when she appeared in court on a felony charge of second degree burglary. 32-year-old Jacqueline Schmidt was in tears when she appeared with her court-appointed lawyer yesterday on charges that she and a man were found by Lake Crystal Police hanging out in another person's home without permission. Her attorney argued that she was "thrown under the bus" by her accomplice and says she thought that man had permission to be there.
