ST. PETER-October 12, 2012-(KMKO)-St. Peter's Jeff Olson has been named the 2013 Minnesota Superintendent of the Year. The honor by the by the Minnesota Association of School Administrators was based on a superintendent's communication skills, professionalism and community involvement. Olson has been with St. Peter Public Schools since 1975 and has been superintendent since 2003. He will also be eligible for the 2013 National Superintendent of the Year, which is announced in late February.
