MANKATO-October 9, 2012-(KMKO)--The Minnesota River Trail will be closed today from Reconciliation Park (East Main Street wall opening) to Riverfront Park for brush clearing.  Brush removal ensures the flood control system is fully operational.  The trail is expected to reopen Thursday afternoon. The trail portion from Reconciliation Park to Sibley Parkway will remain open.
