MANKATO-October 8, 2012-(KMKO)-You can expect delays on Highway 14 from Nicollet to North Mankato, as construction begins today on an interim safety project to reduce head-on crashes. Crews will re-stripe the road surface and install an eight-foot median to make drivers more aware of the center of the roadway. Rumble strips will be placed on both sides of the road. The $2.5 million project is expected to be complete next month.
