MANKATO-October 5, 2012-(KMKO)-Candidates for two seats on the Mankato City Council met for a public forum last night.  The event was sponsored by Greater Mankato Growth.  Fourth Ward incumbent Charlie Hurd faced challenger Jason Mattick, while at-large incumbent Mike Laven squared off against Chris Frederick. Mankato's City Center Hotel hosted last night's event.
