MANKATO-September 21, 2012-(KMKO)-Highway 109 from Winnebago to west of Easton is open to traffic.  MnDOT says drivers will experience a smoother and safer ride. The $7 million construction project consisted of restoring or reclaiming the old pavement, placing new asphalt and making culvert improvements. MnDOT plans to restore Highway 109 from Delavan to Wells in 2014.
