MANKATO-September 21, 2012-(KMKO)-A Mankato company has donated $100,000 to the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota. The gift by Ridley Inc., a leading commercial animal nutrition company, will help pay for the development of the Rooftop Farm Park, an indoor and outdoor exhibit all about modern agriculture. The exhibit will feature, among other things, live animals on the rooftop of the permanent facility. Fundraising and final site planning of the permanent Children’s Museum facility in downtown Mankato is currently underway.
