MANKATO-September 21, 2012-(KMKO)-A ceremony was held last night to honor veterans as the traveling Vietnam Wall arrived in Mankato. Hundreds of people attended the event, which included wreaths for POW's and MIA's, wreaths for Blue Star and Gold Star families, Taps and a candlelight ceremony. The 360-foot-long mobile tribute is 80% the size of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., and lists the names of 58,479 Americans who died.
