MANKATO September 18, 2012 (KMKO) – A Montgomery pork producer will talk Thursday evening about the industry to Mankato Lions Club.Karen Richter of DKR Swine Farms says Minnesota’s pork industry generates $7.8 billion dollars are economic activity in the state and supports over 22,500 jobs.
Richter’s speech at Midtown Tavern is at 6:15 p.m. and is part of National Pork Board’s Operation Main Street outreach program.
