MANKATO-September 17, 2012-(KMKO)-A community ribbon cutting will be held on Thursday for the new Margaret R. Preska Residence Community at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The event, which is open to the public, will focus on the new building and the accomplishments of the former president of the university.  The program will begin at 10:00 am with the ribbon-cutting ceremony set for 10:40.  Dr. Preska was the leader at MSU from 1979 to 1992.
