MANKATO September 7, 2012 (KMKO) – Those who live in the Pohl Road neighborhood don’t want the speed limit increased.
 
Mankato’s Multi-modal Transportation committee is basing their decision on a MnDOT Study and a recommendation by the Commissioner of Transportation to raise the speed limit from 30 to 40 miles per hour.
 
The traffic study showed that 85% of drivers already travel an average of 38 miles per hour.
