MANKATO-September 5, 2012-(KMKO)- The Mankato City Council held a discussion on the preliminary budget and property tax levy for 2013.  The council will vote next Monday on a maximum tax levy increase of 2.6%.   Overall, the city budget for 2013 is set at a proposed increase of 5.5% or $100,275,123.
