MANKATO-August 31, 2012-(KMKO)-We set another record high temperature yesterday in Mankato.  The reading of 97 degrees shattered the old record of 91, set in 1991.  Waseca had a high of 100 degrees yesterday.  The hot, dry weather has raised concerns over wildfires in Minnesota.  A Red Flag Warning was in effect for southern Minnesota yesterday.  The Mankato area has only received two or three inches of rain since June 19th.
